ABOUT DBT

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) was created by Marsha Linehan to treat borderline personality disorder. This method has proven highly effective not only for treating borderline patients but also for other diagnoses, such as emotion regulation, self-destructive behaviors (self-mutilation, addictive behaviors, eating disorders), post-traumatic stress disorder, and suicidal behaviors.

Linehan has designed various modules by combining his clinical experience, his knowledge of meditation and breathing techniques, as well as a program that applies the most recent psychological treatment theories (cognitive, behavioral and psychodynamic).

DBT COURSES

Our DBT courses are divided into four modules:

  • Skill 1: Mindfulness : Learn to be fully in the present moment, cultivating mindful awareness of your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations.

  • Skill 2: Emotional Regulation : Develop effective strategies to identify, understand, and modulate your emotions in healthy and adaptive ways.

  • Skill 3: Interpersonal Relations : Acquire social and communication skills to establish and maintain positive and balanced relationships with others.

  • Skill 4: Crisis Management : Explore practical techniques for coping with moments of crisis and maintaining emotional stability.
